Cvetkovics Trial Closed to Public

At the trial of Aleksandar Cvetkovic, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, the Chamber renders a decision prohibiting the publishing of a witness identity and content of his testimony.

The Trial Chamber rendered the mentioned decision due to protection measures, which were previously granted to this witness before The Hague Tribunal. The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges Aleksandar Cvetkovic, former member of the 10th Reconnaissance Squad of the Main Headquarters with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, with having participated in genocide against civilians in Srebrenica in 1995. The trial of Cvetkovic is due to continue tomorrow, December 24.
